No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle is an action video game currently in development for the Wii video game system. It is the second game in the No More Heroes video game series, directed by Goichi Suda, developed by Grasshopper Manufacture, published by XSEED Games and Rising Star Games, and has a tentative release date of January 2010 in North America, and February or March 2010 in Europe. A Japanese release date has yet to be determined, as a press release by Marvelous Interactive, who were responsible for publishing No More Heroes in Japan, confirms only that publishing Desperate Struggle in North America will be a joint-effort with XSEED, and that plans for release in Japan are currently undecided. Originally I hoped to finish seeding and begin publicizing the wiki by April 1, but I decided to continue holding it back until the Design Materials trading card articles were at least completed. No More Heroes Wiki was born from what I saw as a serious lack of exposition, not to say that it's Game of the Year (although few can protest the game isn't one of the most unique titles currently available for the Wii). Even on sites such as GameFAQs where players look to for FAQs and guides on what they're playing, I found a lack of exposition on the game. Each guide offered information of which the last guide was missing, and one appeared to feature a walkthrough up to the eighth rank, and similarly covered only a portion of the missions, assassination gigs, free fights, trading cards and beam katanas. In response to this I started writing a No More Heroes FAQ, but I shortly dropped it in favor of starting a wiki for the game as an output of what I know and want to share with other players, and in collaboration with countless others who would want to do the same.

A number of maps are made available on No More Heroes Wiki to assist players. For instance, a map of Santa Destroy containing the locations of all 49 Lovikov Balls can be found here. Another containing the locations of t-shirts 60 through 99 can be found here. The locations of all trading cards available within Santa Destroy are illustrated in one map here, or a map containing the location of only a specific trading card can be seen by clicking the (see map) within that certain trading card article's Infobox. Readers should keep in mind that the trading cards illustrated on these maps can only be obtained during a New Game +).

No More Heroes Wiki is not complete. I've spent the last couple of weeks seeding and building the wiki, but broken, red links appear throughout articles (but this is expected of a growing wiki). I'm not through with building No More Heroes Wiki yet, and I hope other users will become active contributors as well. Please contact my talk page if you need any further help.
